Bedroom Furniture Photography in Hertfordshire, London
This sequence shows both retouching and a lighting progression that form the finished picture.
Retouching was used to add in floor boards in the foreground, take-out the corridor behind the wardrobe and turn the polystyrene board behind the bed into a concrete Head-board.
The lighting sequence shows how different exposure were layered on top of each other, as a jigsaw puzzle to make up the finished picture. This enabled me to combine controlled flash lighting on the product while still utilising some of the real sunlight that shone down through the stair-well. This method of working enables a controlled level of light to fall on each bit of the product, while still allowing the sunlight to give controlled atmosphere in the high light areas of the picture.
