This shoot was done at night time. The entire room is lit with flash lighting aimed through the windows and set up in the room. By putting trace paper over the windows, white-out areas in the window frames are achieved, which allows garden scenes shot on a previous sunny day, to be dropped into the window areas. This method helps lengthen the short winter days when the day light disappears at 3.30pm! It of course also means any scene can be added outside the windows!
